Spent this month trying hard to write everyday and hit 50k (and get a big chunk of Unbound by the Sea done). Of course, this is when my body decides fuck you, time to flare up and be ill. Well, I've managed 30k at least and the month isn't over. My full doc is up to 83k and still a chunk to go too..

I recently bought a Japanese plate I found at a carboot sale of all places, and I think it looks lovely alongside my book. I'm slowly getting a collection of Japanese things for nice aesthetics. Not only that, all things pictures are relevant to inside my book too! What do you think?

Long claws bit into the clouds and propelled it faster until all was a blur. The air around me crackled. I ran; I didn’t even stop as a sandal slipped from my foot or as stones pricked my bare sole. I needed to escape. Rain struck the dirt path like a barrage of arrows. The sky was a lit forge hammering swords of lightning. I was trapped between them, running through the never-ending forest. The raijuu wasn’t far behind; I could hear its rumbling laughter around me.

I recently had this artwork made, and I absolutely love it. This is one of my favourite scenes in Tales of Yamato. What do you think? It had to be done in the ukiyo-e style, my favourite too.

You can try Draft2Digital which puts your book in many places (you can also get a free ISBN there). That's the biggest one I know, but there are also smaller sites like Curios. There's also your own website. Problem is, most readers go to Amazon and also itch does well, so it'll be hard without them
