We have electric under floor heating (which is thirsty so don’t use it much) and also gas CH. no HPump yet.
Winter I’ll charge the batteries up overnight and it just about gets us through to the following off peak times.

Let this sink in. It isn't just that adding PV panels to these French vineyards didn't harm grape production, it's the fact that it _increased_ the yield dramatically.

I have 18kWh. It’s only just enough in the winter. I’d like another 6.

Etrucks NZ has another Windrose in the country. These things have a 729kWh battery and can haul 49 tonnes up to 670 km on each rapid charge, using cheap, renewable, locally-made electricity.
No surprise kiwi trucking firms are getting interested in these 1400 hp trucks for the savings alone.
