Right now, my focus is on making the iOS app as solid and feature-complete as possible. As a solo iOS developer, splitting attention across platforms early would compromise quality on both. Once the iOS version is in a great place, I plan to explore bringing Skyswipe to Android.

Planned features for Skyswipe v1.1:
• Multi-feeds: combine multiple feeds into one for more control
• Livestreaming: go live w/ iPhone camera, interact with chatters in real time
• Photo support: add photos section to profiles and browse an instagram style feed

Skyswipe Beta 1.2 (Build 6):

Users can now add the author of the current video card to a bluesky list using the share sheet → “add to list”

Users can now view their lists (no profile links) and remove people from a list in the settings.

We will have a web app (website) that mirrors tiktok’s web app. It’s only partially complete right now as a demo, but it will likely be completed soon along with official iOS release. I’d love to hear if a website app works for you and what would make it as accessible as possible later on!

both photos and android are under consideration. for photos, i'm thinking about the best way to incorporate an instagram style interface. for android, there are no plans currently, but definitely thinking about it if theres enough interest

Sometimes you come across a video you just need to bookmark.

Skyswipe lets you do exactly that, with saved videos only one tap away in your profile tab, along with reposts and likes.

The big difference with Bluesky is that their store is public. Anyone can make an app and see your publicly available Bluesky data. So if you link your Bluesky profile to Skyswipe, all of your followers (among other data) will automatically transfer over! There is no need to rebuild a following.

Hi, Skyswipe is a video-first TikTok style client built on top of AtProto focusing on UX. You sign in with your Bluesky account using oauth2. Everything carries over - posts, likes, reposts, follows, followers. We do not store data. Currently in iOS beta testing :)
