This should have been a huge physical release for the UK. Instead, they print a small amount of game key cards and call it a day. I genuinely think that Nintendo and other companies are leaving a huge amount of money on the table by tiptoeing away from the physical market here.

Agreed. This whole age verification system is a terrible idea from the start. While there is an argument to be made that some young people can be inclined to do the wrong thing, that's a case of being on them and no one else.
