We're rather bad at assessing the second rows impact on scrums on this land I feel. I may well be wrong but improvements against Italy seemed to come from a certain second row sub rather than any front row impact. Still wouldn't have minded front row chair moving for kick up the arse purposes

Edogbo really helped out our scrum too with the likes of Joe just not looking at it at all lately. All obviously good players and capable of showing up big time. Not my ideal team but it's more a statement on all forwards we have available now and their form I should say. Just worrying me on paper.

Definitely could be a case of they're the best we have right now and could be a day for proving themselves as we've seen with others lately. I think a case could have been made for the bench front 3 to be starting anyway plus it feels Conan & Timoney are in form.
