i think what I miss the most about gcb air ride is idk!!! the terrains felt bigger due to there being less of them and only like a very few amount of underground areas. (2 of which you had to go out of your way to access) Idk how to describe it other than this time the stage feels smaller? but not?

and gigantes is fucking huge so it's not at all a problem when it comes to the weird camera and whatever, chances are you will be damaging it if you're hitting it in the weak spots! The other bosses are "smaller" targets making for the fight with the camera and controls a bit of a nightmare

from the other bosses with their cube-rectangular type stage shape. 02 has a long line that you drive up to the SMALLER circular arena to the boss to fight/damage it there before it eventually knocks you back to the start of the line, so repeat until you kill it or you run out the clock n lose

camera angle with an odd fixed camera angle and like. your character focuses the boss even when you're trying to drive to abilities, it's SUPER annoying versus a majority of bosses. I think the only ones that don't suffer from that are Zero Two and Gigantes? 02 cause it has a different stage set up

also yes! there's a lot of new event types and some new hazards! it's a lot of fun!!! The most difficult of the modes is the big bosses just because of how it controls, I majorly struggle with controlling the direction of the vehicle there. It's like Top Ride (not hard) but at a very weird

in ranked the time is hard set to 5 minutes, your matches can be made longer or shorter than that, idk abt the shortest but I'm assuming it's like 3-4 minutes and the longest is 7 minutes (just like original)

and the one new legendary vehicle totally changes the game play for whoever has the vehicle and whoever doesn't, like, you do NOT want to get near it during the trial because it WILL kill you so you for the most part avoid it and then the post trial arena is a boss battle against that one player

can choose to partake in that has you go against whoever else joins the short event, while you wait for it to begin the game gives you an attribute boost every idk second and a half or so cause you're just waiting motionless for about 10+ seconds and not actively getting attribute perks and whatnot

make for very fun scenarios like the fact that there's 3 legendary vehicles now the SECOND you have a piece of one there is a HUGE target on your back from more than just 3 other people now. During the city trial they also have the usual events but they ALSO have an optional short brawl or race you-

it's so fun, i played air ride og a LOT as a kid and back then irl friend and i would make up our own game modes to play tuoys with so I really like that we have more to mess around with this time!!! the large quantity of players in the same trial as you (you can't change the amt of players in rank)
