We are exhausted but we don’t have the option to give up because our lives depend on it. We have been sheltering trans people for two years now but now with the new administration we are targeted full head. Here in Texas it’s basically illegal to be a trans. We don’t have the luxury of protection.

Because masculinity is permissible to perform and they can dismiss trans men as tomboys. Transphobia has always had roots in misogyny. They hate women, period. Trans women threaten patriarchal society, forces them to question gender roles and therefore the myth that men should "always be dominant".

Sadly, he is completely above the law.

We have a criminal in the highest office. The law is worthless.

They are a "TERF", or rather they only believe in the rights of people who they think are woman enough, not trans or black or too butch.

This is how certain people comfort themselves, by blaming trans folks for their utter failure to win people over to progressive values. It would have been exceedingly easy to argue the nonsense arguments, but some folks couldn't be bothered.
