6 months in and already Carney has secured global trade deals and placed Canada higher globally than we have ever been. Renewables and the environment are on the way. The most immediate threat to Canada is the US. If we do not ASAP remove the noose the US has on us we will go down (die) with them.

This is what Carney said following that meeting with Smith ... β€œThere is a prospect of an agreement, it’s not finalized so, in my experience in these things, when things aren’t final it’s better not to overly speculate where they’re going from there.” .... that says a lot.

If it does then let us hope that the NDP will be even stronger in BC

Ahhh exemptions is the word. Let's see what these pan out to be. Also I can state that I'll give you a $1000.00 if you can bring me the Pope, wearing a yellow hat and holding a snowball from Tibet. It will be most interesting to see how it plays out and it will give Smith a lot of work

Sometimes catering to a petulant child is the best course of action. Let Smith run down the path and chase after her delusions. Carney will focus on building Canada as a global economy and remove the noose that the US has around our collective necks.

25.11.2025 05:20 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

A different take on it for sure. Carney is already fighting so many battles and focussed on Building Canada diversification and cutting our dependence on US. He is creating Canada as a global economic force. Why pick an additional battle with Smith and the UCP when he can manipulate and buy time.

Yes !!! I have said the same thing. A high speed rail system is needed so badly.

I agree with you on Jack Layton, I also liked Ed Brodbent. I also liked Jagmeet Singh until he got played by PP. Current NDP trying too hard to prove to PP they are a party. NDP need to return to their base, and stand true. They are a party for Canada when they supported Carney and kept PP out.

Then let's give him the benefit of the doubt and wait and see exactly what the MOU actually stipulates before we decide based on spurious, sensationalized and misleading Media headlines. Let's see what the MOU actually stipulates fully. Then weigh it against the odds of fruition

25.11.2025 04:54 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Have you seen the MOU? Have you seen the stipulations Carney has placed upon it, upon Smith? There are no private takers to fund this, she must deal with BC and the Indigenous claims and refusals, she must secure Carbon Capture ... So how has he gifted her with this?

25.11.2025 04:51 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Exactly what private corporation is? Yo just showed the genius of Carney in those words alone. Look at the other stipulations in the MOU, its really on Smith tout a lot of things in place.

25.11.2025 04:46 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

No she didn't, look at the conditions he has placed on it. It is a MOU and the understanding is that she has a lot of work to do to make it a feasible project. Plus he even got the environment issues put onto her. IMO. Will see what the wording of this MOU is

I hope we can continue to debate and find our way through this troubling time in the world. Resistance or elbows up, for me is better than compliance. Keep fighting

Please don't take my words as something against you or your thoughts. I find it quite hard at times to understand what the game plan for Carney and the Liberals is at times. It takes a lot of sometime frustrating work to try to figure it out, and the forces against us will do anything to break us

25.11.2025 04:33 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Very misleading headline bordering disinformation. Yes he did says those specific words. Trudeau never defined what a Feminist foreign policy was, or why you would have one?
At 23:00 in the video, the question is posed to Carney and he answers and explains it quite well.

Here's a couple of quick questions for Putin. Even though I'm fairly sure he's not one of my followers (though could be hiding out there), nevertheless word travels fast around here:

G20 Leaders’ Summit: PM Carney Holds News Conference Prime Minister Mark Carney speaks with reporters in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he is attending the G20 Leaders’ Summit. (November 23, 2025) (no interpretation)

I am late to post this but I haven't had a chance to watch the video.
Feminist foreign policy - he explains for about 1.5 minutes about how this government has current & future policies addressing these issues and much more and actually says "yes we have that aspect

to our foreign policy but I wouldn't describe our foreign policy as feminist foreign policy".
Even the news stories that have the video clip did not quote him correctly in their headlines, most are actually misleading.
PM Trudeau said he had 'feminist foreign policy' but never defined it.

Great post. Thank you. Just watch QP & the Cons have warped what PMMC said. Also done so with PM’s β€˜who cares’ statement. Cons are also cawing on about the PM making deals that benefit Brookfield. yeesh πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

I'm curious, what "pretty bad behaviour" you are seeing? I have not seen or heard talk on feminism. I would appreciate where you are finding this - thank you. Trump threatens and plays with Canadians for two reasons 1. We became dependant on US 2. As an example to the world, see what we do to Canada

It’s worth noting that Poilievre’s new campaign manager is a Christian ultranationalist who is responsible for Blaine Higgs (former NB Premier), etc.

He’s literally Project 2025 Canada edition.

Close- long war with small chance of success, with Carney we have an expert for success. It will not succeed if we take our eyes off the goal, to win the war to make Canada Strong. The stronger we are the easier it will be to get our house in order. Don't focus on small matters focus on overall

24.11.2025 19:14 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

30f3 - fast, and we will go down with it if Carneys plan does not succeed. So yes in order to build Canada we need to get the Premier's on side, and we need to move as fast as possible. We may not make it but IMO Carney is our best chance. People look at the small items when there is a πŸ‘‰ close
