The final day of meteorological winter, a blessed relief for Ukrainians who endured 90 days of winter like no other.
It's still -3c this morning in Kyiv but temps will be +7 tomorrow and above zero each day for the foreseeable future.

I published a bestseller in 2019 informing America that Trump and Kushner would be taking America to war with Iran. It's simply taken slightly longer than expected. But what the interim has enabled is an understanding of how Epstein is relevant to these plans Trump had all along.

#StillDoinCDs Album 2 for Ajax, Ont.’s all-out punk band Sum 41 was “Does This Look Infected?” from 2002. Lead single “Still Waiting” hit #1 on the UK Rock charts despite getting some grousing for its anti-war content: “So am I still waiting for this world to stop hating?”

Close-up portrait of a European goldfinch perched on a leafy branch against a dark, blurred background. The bird faces right, showing its vivid red face mask bordered by black and white markings, warm buff-brown body, and a bright yellow wing stripe edged with black. Fine feather detail is sharply visible, and the small green leaves beneath its feet add a fresh splash of colour.
Good morning. Sorry not around as much during this weekend. Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #PrimaryColours any bird with a primary colour in their plumage. The alt is #Songbirds good luck!

The cover has a collage of photos based on what looks like an astronaut’s space helmet with photos of the band members & drum kit & other musical equipment superimposed.
#StillDoinCDs Reiter is a diverse-influences rock band in the classic mode from Thousand Oaks near Los Angeles. With their name borrowed from exceptional lead guitarist Jerry Reiter, also singer/writer, they have 3 albums out, of which year 2000’s “Out of the Garage” is the 1st.

I am a 15-year-old girl. Let me show you the vile misogyny that confronts me on social media every day | Anonymous
Objectification, hate, rape threats: the politicians debating online abuse mean well, but to truly understand, they need to see what I see
This is one of the most heart-breaking & important articles I have ever read - from someone whose voices are so rarely heard, a teenaged girl.
If you want to understand online misogyny in all its devastating impact, please read this shattering piece.

Australia hands record prison sentence to reptile smuggler in trafficking crackdown
The seizure of dozens of live Western blue-tongued lizards, bearded dragons and spiny-tailed skinks covertly packed into popcorn bags, biscuit tins and women’s handbags have led to the longest prison…
Australia is home to 10% of the world’s reptile species, and 90% can be found nowhere else in the world.
Authorities are now stepping up and cracking down on wildlife trafficking. Arrests have tripled from mid-2023 to early 2025, with 780 native animals seized from 200+ parcels.

Hello again! It's Day 1465 of Ukraine's fight against a genocidal maniac of a country.
Despite near constant talks, no one dares to say what I guess most of #TeamTim is thinking - we're no nearer peace than we were 4 years ago.
Here's the daily thread for Friday:

Several great blue herons lined up along the edge of a large industrial dock. The heron closest to the viewer is in crisp focus, and the herons behind it get progressively blurrier. Most of them are facing in the same direction as the bird in front, looking out across the dock, which has a few large pipes running along its length. Taken at Ballard Locks.
A photo from today's walk. I sometimes get my ducks in a row, but this is the first time I've managed to get my herons in a row.
