I think the biggest gripe I have is just some of the stuff that could of been cool not getting enough time to breath. But overaly I had a realy great time.

Its impressve how much the game manages to balance. It doesn't delve in depth into any specific systems asmich as other games do but it stil makes for a really fun experience from beginning to end.

Finished Re9. It was super rad.
I was kinda baffled from some of the wrting decisions at first but when you look at the story from the angle of it being a "requiem" for the saga of Umbrella, and the theme being moving on from pas trauma, I think it's actually really solid.

I haven't played Entropy Effect because its my understanding it has actually nothing to do with Blazblue and is like, an unrelated roguelike game made by a different dev that they slapped Blazblue sprites on top of.

Anyway the main thing you should take away from this, Bluesky Viewer, is to play Blazblue.
And also to make more art of Kokonoe Mercury in various states of undress and/or pregnant.

Idk I'm rambling a bit but I feel like GG needs to stop having "implied" character relationships ans just have characters interact meaningfully more. I think Blazblue being in a VN style with lots of routes really helps with this.

It's very wierd.
Blazblue has a very bittersweet sad ending but I feel it's completely earned, and GG has a very sappy happy ending that I felt was very hollow.

In BB you can name any character aside from Naoto and Es who are literally from spinoffs and I can give you like 8 meaningful links to other cast members but if you asked me to do the same with Millia Rage or Potemkin I'd be like, struggling to name more than like 3.

Blazblue also has the benefit of having a clearly defined Main Villain from its outset who gets to be a villain the whole time, and a protagonist who actually has to scrape and struggle for his victories. The way characters talk generally also feels more candid and less "weighty" if that makes sense

Everyone has meaningful dynamics with a large portion of the rest of the cast and it makes them fighting eachother have some extra edge and allows them to show off thier character to other characters rather than at the audience. Everyone generally feels like they're *doing* something.

Thinking about Blazblue and how I look back on the story fondly even though it's a complete mess and yet I cant say the same for GG even though it's by all merits better structured and paced out (which is saying something)
And I really think it's because Blazblue has way better character dynamics.

Other people have like, actual problems and trauma and still get way more done than I do and also are more well rounded people who live more eventful lives.
I feel like I'm just a very weak person who folds at the slightest inconvenience and needs so much prep to do anything.

I feel like I'm never justified in being stressed out because I do very little. Not much happens to me I don't have actual real reasons to be depressed or sad or act like I'm overworked.
But the feeling happens anyway and I feel like Im being very whiny and entitled by feeling that way.

Constantly feeling overwhelmed and when im not overwhelmed I feel guilty for not doing enough.
