Spark reminds me of the hunter mount -- probably more than you want to spend, but might help you push damage.

It might also fit in a minion light deck better than other non-minions at 4, (chronoclaws, grace of the great wolf, monkey business, and past silvermoon)

It's possible I got better deathrattles. I feel like it's worth a try at least.

I feel like it checks several boxes (including being odd attack), but maybe it's not good enough at any of them to shine.

Miniset thoughts on rotation (meta dependent)

I see potential for Triennium Rex if other themes are pushed (like deathrattle or recruit), or if untimely death is more popular.

And synchronized spark may see play in spell hunter style decks (ones that want to run few minions)

I think part of this is that aura paladin, cycle DH, dragon warrior, imbue rogue are new decks. Which is good for the game but not for a specific class.

The miniset didn't shake up hunter as much as other classes, so it's mostly the same thing.

It may not neatly fit into a category, but it looks like some good choices to put major effort into the quest.

Going for aggro quest hunter seems a good pick for the meta as it's settling.

@sidisi.bsky.social I feel like Discover Hunter is not only a success story as a new deck archetype, but also as a deck with various pieces.

Cards like Naielle and Niri might be important to the deck, but are still not essential in the way Sif or Owlonius are.

I like the idea of handbuff, though I'm not sure it works in the current meta of dubious purchase, shield slam/brawl, and poison minions.

We'd have to see how the meta is different when the miniset comes out.

I might also try out a build that generates cards (like jeweled macaw, and then uses the new weapon to discard expensive ones I don't want to play.

It may also happen the deck is better without the quest (for example as a beast hunter or nohand hunter) due to how long it takes to complete the quest

You wouldn't need to play the quest until you're ready to fill your hand (which could be several turns later)

Wilderness pack and other temporary generators can be good as they auto-discard themselves. If you played hologram operator + wilderness pack on 3, you could fill your hand.

I think that's a common story in this meta. It's not easy dealing with an unfriendly meta, especially when it starts changing.

I'm currently taking a break to play Battlegrounds and other games and it's been good to step away for a bit.

This is a great picture! Sometimes it just works out with a look or pose.

I haven't listened to the soundtrack, but I might do that once I get to the end. One of my friends was surprised "I Am Gonna Claw (Out Your Eyes then Drown You to Death" was actually a song.
