SCOTUS doesn't respect the health, privacy, or lives of trans people. Their disastrous decision puts the lives of trans minors at risk in Tennessee. We can't let these courts ignore proven clinical research that doctor-prescribed trans-related healthcare saves lives. Another shameful day in America.

Acceptance is not always guaranteed. If you’re happy, that will shine through, and she might see that.

Personal grievance politics are often overlooked by us who are deeply immersed in politics. People close to us may use us as a gauge for their beliefs. Instead of overexplaining, sometimes it’s more effective to meet them where they are. More like using airplane noises to feed broccoli to a child.

A youth foster advocate shook Mace’s hand + asked her to support trans youth. She then reported the handshake as assault to Capitol Police.

They don't care that women are dying. They just want them to die quietly.

This is the same thing they did with the Covid rates in 2020.

If you don't test, you can't have positives to track.
If you don't do the review you can't have data on the consequences of abortion bans.

Agreed we must never let these people work on Democratic campaigns again.

The problem is she was on the senior leadership of the Harris Campaign. Making it more scary.

We let ultra-rich consultants who pretend to know what they are doing run 25-year-old strategies and set the Democratic messaging strategy. These consultants work at places like Uber and GE during the off-season.

We will never win again until we stop hiring these out-of-touch losers.

Harris did not have trans people in the room about trans issues. We had a few trans volunteers like myself who were two steps removed but never asked proactively to help with messaging. We are an afterthought. Instead, we had people like Stephanie that doesn’t know not to use transgender as a noun.

She acts like this is somehow not her fault. It’s because of the senior leadership consultants of the Harris Campaign that made her run from trans issues. This allowed the Trump Campaign to control the narrative of how Democrats believe, thus disarming ourselves instead of holding to our values.

Stephanie Cutter, senior adviser for strategy messaging for the Harris Campaign, says, “the conversations we just had about transgenders” in an interview with @podsaveamerica.bsky.social. She says we have to make a choice to be squishy or care about real life. The Consultant Class is why we lost.

Imagining a world where Zooey would have just apologized and said "I'm so sorry for breaking decorum, I never should have said that anti-trans bills kill trans people. It's an honor to serve with all of you, and you were right to not let me speak" instead of this.

I will never give up.

I will never surrender my power.

As a trans woman, I owe everything to the trans people before me. The blood and lives they gave for a younger generation of trans people to have a chance will not be in vain.

Today, Nancy Mace introduced a resolution to the House rules package that would ban trans women from using women's restrooms in the U.S. Capitol. This is being done as Sarah McBride is set to become the first openly-trans Member of Congress.

It remains very unclear how this rule would be enforced.
