Assaying the myosin super-relaxed state across muscle types, cells and proteins for understanding muscle biology and use in drug discovery - Nature Protocols The Mant-ATP assay is a simple and accessible means for rapid quantitative assessment of the ratio of super-relaxed myosin to disordered relaxed myosin. This protocol provides a standardized methodolo...

A particularly novel part of this protocol never published before has been the approach to applying this technique in high-throughput in solution and in iPSC derived materials. Taking protocols from first steps through to data analysis and the final data appraisal.

This protocol has drawn together a series of teams working across tissues, cells, and molecules to bring together a compendium of approaches for this useful biochemical assay to make it simple for adoption.

Some good news, myself and @simoesfilipa.bsky.social are advertising for a post-doctoral researcher to join us at the Oxford Organoid hub: tinyurl.com/OOHJob

Come and join us to develop novel human organoid systems as part of the MRC/BHF CRE in advanced cardiac therapies.
