But yes, no one, not even you will know, until you ARE what you are. So please don't stress. Take deep calm breaths, and just BE. I'm sorry for rambling and maybe not fully getting to the point. But you are awesome Bea. You'd leave a heavy hole in the hearts of the furry community if we lost you.

Who you can be is irrelevant because you will be A LOT of things! I've known you as a video editor, a camera person, a member of the lgbtq community, a furry, and a DINOSAUR!! There is probably so so much more but because I have only briefly met you I know so little about you, I'm so sorry.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO is look deep into what may or may not be contributing towards your depression. (drama, political environment, bad habits, and substance abuse.)

HOW CAN YOU MITIGATE? Is there a hobby you can pick up? Is moving to a better area an option? Have you considered an ESA or therapy?

I'm so much happier than I used to be. I've gone from rotting and eating one meal every other day to eating two meals a day and being hydrated! I have a commission queue and I wake up at a more reasonable time now!

It hit me then that what I had been needing were smaller goals. I still loved art. So I needed to make a portfolio. I needed to wake up at 11am instead of 4pm. I needed to eat and drink more than maybe one thing a day. I needed to have sun on my skin or be under my plant lights for a while. Etc

The thought of the future always triggered many negative thoughts. I never thought I'd live this long. I failed to become an animator a long time ago and never dreamed again. But that's just a job. Why would I ever want to dream about a job I'm not a job that's definitely not what I want to be.

I moved to Washington to take on a full-time job and live close to friends. It was a safe environment for me and I was able to practice being present. Not dwelling on the future OR the past. I mastered the art of enjoying life and just BEING. It was there that I was able to take the next step.

I understand how you feel. I spiralled after I learned I wasn't going to make it as an animator. And things only go worse with politics and my family. But I ended up finding a new purpose after I decided that I couldn't live rotting in an apartment. I would move to a safer place and just BE.
