So, my plea to all my political friends, when putting election adds or in fact any adds, be it commercial, social or whatever, please differentiate also based on gender. It will first of all reach more women, if you actually do want to reach more women.

According to the article, 90% of adds were put as generic, not targeting specifically men or women, although Meta has the function to enable differentiated targeting. And this genderneutral targeting means that rather men than women are reached. Meta didn´t not comment. What a surprise.
