I have noticed, however, that rage-bait dominates the attention market, so art like this can be either too tepid by comparison or viewers have become desensitized to it.

Given that, my plan is to lean hard into humor, as that’s a positive form of engagement that reaches people and sticks with them.

Journalism and free expression have been bought and silenced by billionaires at the behest of Trump, and so finding and sharing protest art (or creating it for those who can) is a small but vital way we can resist and uplift each other.
