Author of Texas bill to ban 'furries' in schools cannot come up with examples of it happening

This bill makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. Firstly, there are no “furries” in schools. They are thinking of “therians”. Regardless, my own daughter owns a tail and cat ears. If passed she could be suspended or sent to an “alternative education program” if she wears them at school.

Hawaii yes but they’ll never be able to keep up with demand…UNLESS we strip more land from the locals to produce….didnt we do that once already?

Gov. Greg Abbott wants to extend Texas’ DEI ban to K-12 schools In 2023, Texas passed a DEI ban at the state’s public universities. Now Abbott wants the state to stop funding diversity programs in K-12 schools.

Because the BEST way to close achievement gaps isn’t with extra funding for public schools and teachers, it’s getting rid of DE&I initiatives and offices. You will see this on a national level soon as it’s spreading like a virus.

UT-Austin President Jay Hartzell leaving for Southern Methodist University University of Texas President Jay Hartzell is leaving UT to become the next president of Southern Methodist University, the private university announced Tuesday.

After a series of insanely unpopular decisions that left staff and faculty reeling, Hartzell is moving to a private Texas university. Don’t worry though, the new prez will be placed by the same Greg Abbott appointed board of regents that put Hartzell in.
