This is so true. The assumption that learning facts and the ability to think creatively are mutually exclusive is bandied about in education circles. There isn't enough time to learn everything by discovery. We have to learn from those who have lived before us.

The The weird part was we had a bunch of ice tubes and ice packs in the room freezer which somehow flipped upside down from when I loaded it to when I opened it again. Yes, THAT, was the weird part. The emu was normal.

We spent the night in a motel where there was also a guest with a piglet. The animals frolicked together and I had a pleasant conversation with the guests that owned it.

last night I dreamed I was on a roadtrip with my pet emu. Sadly I can’t remember his name. He gave great hugs and apparently loved Fla-Vor-Ice tubes.
