As part of the celebration of Black history, I would like to share this jewel of a song that I uncovered a couple of years ago. My dear friend Shiyu Zhuo collaborated with me for my last DMA recital at NEC.

For the celebration of African-American culture, I would like to share this piece by Florence Price, the first African-American composer to achieve acknowledgment from her peers as a symphonist. This piece merges different styles and genres in a virtuosic piano writing.
