i know, it was so disturbing reading about both of them. it definitely made me more cautious where and what brand i buy my pens and ink from! (luckily i'm in europe so i can avoid both noodlers and goulet)

is it the Goulet drama you're referring to by any chance? 👀

it's my favorite, the villagers are so sassy

i really don't understand why some artists suddenly decide to use AI. all you can do is unfollow and move on i guess

i feel you, it's snowing again where i live as well and it's been freezing temperatures continuously since new years. i personally love winter but i really need spring now

thank you for sharing, it's very insightful and helpful! i guess i'll just give it more time and keep being creative in different ways until i feel comfortable with drawing again

i can relate to this because i actually got interested in photography. even though i only know the basics and i only care about what looks good to me it feels a lot more satisfying and carefree than drawing. did you not work on any games at all during that time?

the switch 2 version runs really poorly so you're not missing out on anything. apparently PC is currently the best way to play!

yeah! the problem isn't really that i'm having a hard time to fill a page (sometimes i even run out of space) but it's just so big and it doesn't really feel like a journal to me :/ the cover also adds so much bulk so i removed it. i really wish i went for several smaller notebooks instead

they don't fit well imo, they don't "click" like other converters, they just slide in. they don't draw in the ink well and you have to hold the nib and ink bottle at an angle which can be really annoying if your bottle is low on ink. tbh they feel a little flimsy to me compared to other converters 😞

i use 1 notebook for journaling, a fabric pouch insert for loose papers & maps, a zipper case for wrappers i collect.
in my passport TN 1 notebook for stamps & a sticker book. i keep the regular size in the hotel (too big/heavy to carry around) & collect stamps etc in my passport TN while i'm out :)

i have 3 of them because i love the nibs! the ink flows really, they aren't as feedback-heavy as sailor and overall they're just very pleasant to write with and they look pretty too. however i don't really like the converters because they can be finicky compared to sailor's converters
