For those that are of course wondering, yes; all my art is backed up and I don’t keep much on the laptop itself.

As a rule of thumb, whilst it is true, you can upgrade from one OS major release to another, after doing it a few times in a row, the chances of gunk building up increases and I went through 3 to 4.

For added context, I have been experiencing a ton of stability issues, including Finder malfunctioning, performance degradation, hangs, cursor issues and other weirdness that would drive someone less technical mad.

My MacBook drive partition was reporting above nominal errors which could only be fixed with a format. Thankfully, Time Machine made it straightforward to back up and restore my files. I chose not to restore applications just to be on the safe side. Only difficulty was that it took a whole evening.

So far its been happening every day and Im sure they are AI generated.

I keep getting unscrupulous mentions by scam bots with no morals using my handle and it’s getting very annoying.

How do I block these whole sale? Any lists or filters I can use?

Assistance is appreciated.

I don’t really like going to cinemas anyway. Its a social thing so unless I have people to go with I feel weird going alone.

I can afford to wait to watch at home with my movie watching setup.
