And ironically enough, now I’m playing Deus Ex; a game that highlights techno aristocrats that gas light an entire nation they are under threat by a viral infection that they made, and can end when ever they want.

Its funny cause I just replayed System Shock 2, a game where you as an individual fight against the “many” a hive mind that wants to erase your individuality cause its apparently superior to the suffering of the individual. No glory, no accomplishment, just being reduced to a part of the mass.

I’m so sick of this race to the bottom where we need to replace our humanity with glorified plumbing like it’s a problem that needs fixing.

With that logic, I guess its ok to make a model trained on Disney and Ghibli without their consent right? Oh wait, you’ll likely he pressured not to for the big guys but not the rest of us.

I've had this as a sketch floating around on my hard drive for over a year but hadn't gotten around to finishing it. I wanted to refine my method before tackling it the way I wanted to. I was hoping to get this posted for the 1st of the month, but my mental/physical health this past week has been pretty bad, and post bird just hasn't been working well for me.

Fot transparencies sake this week I’ve been spending time getting my comic project off the ground and also doing a ton of file clean up. Lots of duplicates and redundant files that have accumulated over a decade.

It needs to be done so once its over with, its back to comms as usual.

I made it to the Bridge in System Shock finally, but not before hunting down every audio log in all its confusing glory.

Turns out I only missed 3 and one of them was under a desk 👿

Also, the achievement for installing every upgrade forces you to carry the worst gun in your inventory. Painful

Interestingly this is not an issue when streaming games cause (well designed) games use delta-time which is less sensitive to performance hitches like this.
