Like, imagine watching a wine glass remaining un-effected by nature for billions of years just to see if it melts.

Makes watching paint dry look like a fraction of a blink of an eye.

Glass even in its stable solid form is still technically a liquid, but there’s misinformation about how ‘liquid’ it is.

It’s mainly to do with its absurdly high viscosity, so high that it would take longer than the age of the universe itself to ‘melt’, and thats assuming its still intact.

Gemini ads are no better. There was an ad campaign showing people lying down on their bed or couch talking to their phone, implying humanity is that lazy.

They think we are that lazy.

Hence so far when I’ve tried providing advice for drawing, I mostly focus on the tools and how they work and what has worked for me. That way, if someone figures out something from what I said thats better than me, then I can have a sigh of relief.

Amongst my many chief anxieties as an artist, I always think about if I’m learning the right lessons when learning from other artists work.

With that said, I hope those that look at my own work dont get led in the wrong direction either.

To express what I’m saying with a metaphor; imagine a chef serving you food and never taking a spoon full of his own soup in pursuit of excellence cause he know it sucks.

The ideal of capitalism is businesses should be proud and believe in their work and what they earn makes it better.

It shouldn’t get worse and you shouldn’t be so afraid of your “product” that you need to wrap it in corpo speak to sell it to the “poors”. Goes from being a business to a grift.

Seeing the McDonalds CEO talking about their new “product” and taking a single hesitant bite out of it is peak corporate behaviour.

I like to imagine digestion in vore like baking a cake; like the prey is rendered down to cake batter with egg whites and its being mixed together and baked in the oven.

Then when they’re finished “baking”, instead of a “ding” I just go “Burp”

I love making vore into a visual gag like that.
