One of my partners is on Mounjaro, and another is on Zepbound. Both have mentioned similar effects, and the Zepbound partner legitimately eats less due to not being as hungry and feeling full faster these days.

Not an aspersion on my friends -they're amazing people who deserve all the love and then some. It's not their fault I feel like I have nothing really to offer that some better person doesn't already do better, and my feelings are not theirs to manage.

It just is what it is, I guess.

Said friends have/had big followings on the other place, which frankly intimidates me and makes me feel like I'm inadequate and don't measure up somehow, even though I know that's not the case.

I thought maybe here, smaller followings might feel easier.

So far, this hasn't been the case.

So I've realized something.

I wasn't all that brave about commenting on things back at the other place. Even with friends, a couple of whom expressly stated they hoped I would comment more.
