Like, even if you accept the “bad apple” theory (and you shouldn’t, or at least if you do need to finish the whole quote), it seems bad that police can’t even get rid of THEM.
Per the “put math in fantasy” thread I often think that the way people devalue studying the Middle Ages leads to some very uninteresting fiction.
