📌 Yet when Crystal demanded I pay 30 dollars to get the rights to my book’s cover, I asked her where to send the money. She answered that in a day.
📌 After paying her, I never received the cover file.

☠️Avoid working with this publisher. Nothing but trouble.

📌 Communication was nonexistent. I would often have to contact another Baynam Books Press author in order to get ahold of Crystal. Weird.

📌 Twice Crystal Baynam said a physical ARC had been sent out. It never arrived.
📌 I gave Crystal an accurate synopsis. Instead the published synopsis compares the splatterpunk novel to Rebecca.
📌 I received a wonderful blurb from another author. Crystal didn’t use that blurb to promote the book.

📌 The publishing contract was for a period of six months. After ​​only one month, Crystal offered the rights back to me via group email. What????
📌 I have never, ever seen a royalty statement, despite requesting one and despite monthly statements being prescribed in the contract.
