Writer, human, uncle, recuperative multi-generic hybrid, obliterated romantic, scribbling, managing crap health stuff, steps and swims at a time. Saw the NBA fall, in another life. London. Home is a WIP, with Shelves, No Commercial Value. It hurts. Always.

I can’t work out why the defunct publishers didn’t just crowdfund the debt owed to the authors from their mates, by working like dogs to persuade generous people to help out, you know like the authors did in the first place to raise the money that was stolen.

The Fish.
The Fish is one of the most ancient of all charms, and was probably introduced into Europe from Alexandria. Originally the Fish was the symbol of the Egyptian goddess who controlled the rising of thΓ© Nile, which brought prosperity and abundance to Egypt. The Palm branch has been used from earliest times as an emblem of victory. The Crook was the symbol of the Good Shepherd, who watches over the welfare of his sheep. The Ring (early Christian) was worn for success, protection, prosperity, riches, and happiness.

"The Task" by Remedios Varo portrays two ethereal figures weaving intricate strands of cosmic material within a pointed tower, embodying Varo's fascination with alchemy and transformation. The artwork, set against a backdrop of tall, otherworldly structures, evokes a dreamlike atmosphere characteristic of her signature surrealist style.

If anybody has any insight about why the UK supported the proposal to downlist the Peregrine, I’d love to hear it.

naked as the sea,
waiting to pull you down where there is no air, no God.
Bury them."

Now we’re β€œmore than five years removed” from the pandemic entirely? So it started and ended in 2020? No delta wave? No omicron? No massive 2024 summer wave? Come on, it had to have at least lasted longer than your compassion for other humans.
