Yes. But it’s TV’s role too and adds a visual dimension.

The Book Programme, Bookmark, Paperbacks, Read All About It, all effective and economical formats which didn’t patronise the audience. Maybe that’s why they’re gone.

I didn’t even know this existed, and I’m part of the target audience. And now it’s gone.
