I follow a number of social media sites dedicated to military personnel. Today I learned the phrase “blue falcon”, which appeared repeatedly in reference to Hegseth. Along with various versions of the bus metaphor.

I doubt anything bad will happen to our planes down there. But I wouldn’t want to be one of those crew members and have those war crime/murders hanging over my head for the rest of my life. (5/5)

Given that it is AC-130s destroying these boats, this seems relevant. My dad was in the first group to fly AC-130s in regular combat operations, 12/68-9, mostly trying to interdict and destroy vehicle traffic along the Ho Chi Minh trail. (1/x).

I watched Sinners three times and didn’t know he was both brothers. Thought he was just one of them. Fantastic acting in a great movie. Definitely deserves Best Actor.
