Surprisingly, it's a Seagate. I have a few PATA setups here that we might be able to dump the firmware, otherwise there might be some tap points on the chips. I think the winbond is just SRAM...

@skyehdd.gay Are you still working on the PSX drive reverse engineering? My Seagate just did a perfect dd pass. I should be able to get the image and HDD ID over to ya.

In a tl;dr, we are an independent team working with the blessing of Mainframe Studios on transferring the master tapes. Our focus is on preservation of the decaying media at this stage.

The best bet will be to follow on YouTube for further updates as we progress, and be sure to continue to share!
