I've tried toe-up and top-down, but nothing computes with my brain at this time. You give me hope, though, that maybe in the next year or so I'll be able to knit socks if I keep trying. 💙

This one is super simple. There were a few other patterns I tried, but I had to rip them out because I found I couldn't read/follow them.

Gotta keep that dopamine hitting! I follow where the rabbit trail leads, and just hope I don't abandon too many projects along the way!

Nah. I'm pretty sure I have ADHD and this is just my current hyper-focus. My REAL goal is to knit socks, but so far that one is beyond my reach.

My daughter wanted a sweater. Not bad for someone who only learned to knit last Christmas, hey? I'm pretty proud of myself! AND I spun the yarn 🧶 I'm using!

My sister and I spent HOURS listening to AiO. We were obsessed. I'm an atheist married to a DM now, and I've never laid a hand on our sassy tom-boy daughter. Dobson's influence will NOT touch her.

I am also one of those people. It's been hard learning to live in nuance and "gray" areas...I like things to be cut-and-dried or one-size-fits-all. My poison was religion.

But I just realized you said "get laid" and I said "relationship"...and yeah, if a guy is ONLY looking to get laid, all those 6s definitely help your chances. It's not gonna fix the loneliness though...just improve your chances of one night stands.

As a woman, this argument has always baffled me. I don't know a single woman with a guy who fits that description, nor do I know any who are looking for a guy like that. And I know many women who are happily in relationships with men.

I'm glad you got out.

Two spools of single-ply hand-spun yarn are wound thickly onto two long wooden dowels. The spool on the left is variegated purples, blues, and a deep wine red. The spool on the right is black. The ends of each spool sit neatly in the hand-holes of a small wooden crate...a sort of make-shift lazy kate if you will. Lying across the upper left corner of the crate is a handmade wooden drop spindle with the beginnings of two-ply stripey yarn.

Check out my makeshift #LazyKate! It's working perfectly to hold the two strands I'm plying together into a skein 🧶 I'm #spinning for my other mother. I managed to get over 1000yds out of the coloured #fibers, so I'm hoping it's enough for her to MAKE something with! #knitting #crochet #FiberArt

Sweet! I read Incognegro a few years ago, and he's on my radar for graphic novelists to add to my collection.

Yeah, yours was kinda boring, honestly. And I didn't mind the blueberries. The copious amount of pickles overpowered them a bit.

Isn't it SO GOOD?!?! I think we've watched three times now? And @tetrapod.bsky.social is threatening a fourth rewatch.

We also see many people who are grieving where your country is at. Many of us have friends and family in the US who help us keep the perspective that not EVERY American has been drinking the orange Kool aid.

As someone in another country, that is most definitely NOT what we see. We see an angry toddler throwing massive tantrums. And we see thousands of innocent people being terrorized and disappeared from the country that used to promote freedom. But I know you'll think I'm lying, so whatever. Carry on.

Slowly but surely Robyn is helping me overcome my fear of spiders. Isn't she so cute? There are no jumps in this clip.
