I’m not convinced that Trump won the election. We’ll probably never know for sure. Regardless, too many voters stayed home. If a sizable number of them turn out in 2026, we’ll win the House and maybe even the Senate. IF they show up.

No election needed. The Vice President automatically becomes President. If Trump’s condition deteriorates further, we might see the 25th invoked, but then we’d have J. D. Vance, who probably wouldn’t be an improvement.

We have the 25th Amendment, which would let Trump’s cabinet get rid of him if they thought he was mentally or physically unable to do his job. We’re in 25th Amendment territory now, but no sign that it will happen. And then we’d be stuck with J. D. Vance, who might actually be worse.

I agree. I eat lots of veggie burgers. I wouldn’t eat them if I thought they contained meat. Likewise, meat eaters hear the word “veggie” and stay away from them.

I think it’s an excellent idea. Although we might run into a cultural issue. Americans don’t like to be told what to do. People balk at vaccine mandates, and they whined about lockdowns at the start of COVID.

I’m a proud American. Just not proud of what our country has become. It’s not the country I grew up in. Don’t worry, nothing you can say about our current government will offend me.

Really? Those are great ideas. If everyone voted, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Unfortunately, our current Republican Congress is interested only in restricting voting.
