As Theta Taus we speak often of service to our communities, but we too rarely distinguish our brothers serving the nation, at home and abroad. Today we celebrate the service of our brothers who have honorably served our country.

Over the weekend Theta Tau's Xi Beta Chapter at Lawrence Technological University hosted a 24-hour live stream on Twitch where they raised funds working with Extra Life for their local children's hospital through the Children's Miracle Network. Read more on our Theta Tau News.

While some chapters are celebrating this season with Halloween traditions like pumpkin carving and costume contests, Psi Delta Chapter shared their annual visit to the historic town of Salem, MA. Read more on our Theta Tau News page!

The Gear is our bridge between student and graduated members of Theta Tau. While deadlines to submit are April 15 and Oct 15, the committee has extended the fall deadline to October 25th. You can submit at any time, but submissions past the deadline may not be reviewed until later editions.

Over the weekend, Kappa Gamma chapter at VCU hosted an exceptional Atlantic Regional Conference. Brothers from across the region gathered to engage with guest speakers and bond as brothers. Thank you for hosting!

We are pleased to announce that Theta Tau has chartered the Kappa Zeta Chapter at UT Dallas! On October 11, 2025 a team of National Officers and alumni met with the candidate chapter to install the chapter. Welcome to Theta Tau!

On October 15, 1904, four gentleman founded Theta Tau to create a space for engineers uniquely united under our core values of community service, professional development, and fellowship among brothers. .

Theta Tau is a community for engineers by engineers where brothers establish friendships and connections that follow them through every chapter of their life.

Our purpose clearly states that we seek to develop a professional interest among our members. Theta Tau brothers are united in one commonality -- a passion for engineering! Innovation is in the heart of every Theta Tau.

As engineers, our Theta Tau brothers have the opportunity to innovate the world. Our student members strive to make an impact in their communities through service and philanthropic acts.

As we approach Convention, the Executive Council is seeking information on two topics. The first is the Regional Director role and the second is New Member Education. Our chapter officers were sent an email to fill out a pre-convention survey. Each chapter only needs to submit once.

Theta Tau is pleased to partner with Greek Yearbook, the official photographer of the Theta Tau National Convention, who will provide event photography and professional headshots for the event!

On International Women in Engineering Day, Theta Tau celebrates the hard work and leadership of our female engineers. Our Fraternity, and our engineering industries, are greatly improved by the hard work of diverse minds around the globe.

On June 19th, brothers across the country celebrate the end of slavery in the United States. Each year we celebrate freedom and equality for all people. Happy Juneteenth!

Theta Tau is pleased to be able to celebrate all of our LGBTQ+ brothers this month. It is important to remember, however, that Pride Month isn’t merely a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, it’s a celebration of our right to belong - a right that is central to the Fraternal movement.
