I care about that issue as well, but I would like to hear from the organization as well since that occurred over 50 years ago. I do find it interesting that so much hate has been directed towards players and ownership. I feel the quantity of stories like yours and others is 100% driven by hate.

My father was born in Brooklyn and relocated to Los Angeles in the early ‘50s. When the Dodgers did the same, he was furious and never forgave them. Use to take me to Dodger games as a child and openly root for the other team. I was obviously embarrassed. I learned later in life to forgive him.

I am not a Bandwagoner. I love the Dodgers and will celebrate their wins and accept their losses till I die. There are still possibly 2-more games. That being said, I will graciously congratulate the Blue Jays if they win it all.

Construction of Dodger Stadium began in 1959 and opened for business in 1962. What do you expect it to look like? I have been there many times and like the history and feel of the place.
