Finished reading Murderbot Diaries #5, Network Effect. Depending on which mention of it I've made various places you consider more accurate, this was either a month or a few days after intended. Regardless, still having a lot of fun with this series.

Appreciate the attempt, I didn't know this thing existed. Sadly it doesn't seem to work with Morta. Caused issues recognizing the controller for a sec, and when that was fixed, still didn't allow the mouse to move between monitors or alt-tab to function without minimizing the game.

Battery could be fully discharged and unable to hold a charge anymore, yeah. I doubt the internals of the system are damaged unless something went catastrophically wrong though, I'm sure you can find a third-party battery that won't explode with enough careful searching.

I don't think Gamefreak and associated bits want people to have continued access to the older pokemon games.

Not meant in a conspiratorial way, I just think they genuinely don't want that outside of whatever remakes they decide to release.

Look Outside is good shit. I initially said it didn't matter much if you wait given the game is already significantly different from 1.0 in balance / some added encounters / etc , but the next patch is aparently a big milestone, so I'd wait.

If you're okay with saying, curious what the breaking point for you with Nioh 2 was this time?

No judgment regardless of answer, Nioh 2 is tough.

That's interesting. This is the first controller I've used without handles since the 90s. I thought I'd have more trouble readjusting to it than I have.

I tried the setting for borderless in-game, it either does not function or switches away from the setting when the computer's focus is on another window.

Any chance any of the #blutoid crew know how to make borderless fullscreen play nice in Children of Morta? I always have one or more things on the other monitor and not being able to alt+tab without minimizing the game is a serious annoyance.

8Bitdo SN30 Pro controller.

First impressions of this thing after 24 minutes of testing are positive, it's not intended to be my primary controller, but for my intended use case (whenever I feel like it + whenever using the laptop) it should be more than sufficient. #blutoid

The controller I'm getting was mostly out of impulse, mine still works, I just wanted one with a different form factor / to use with my laptop primarily.

I plan to start reading a trilogy of novels highly regarded by Ashrah, the locked tomb trilogy by Tamsyn Muir.

I'm almost done with reading Murderbot Diaries #5, Network Effect, after stalling in place for like a month or two due to other interests. As soon as I finish that I want to binge the sixth. After that..
