Wonderous, the gentle shimmer of mystical energy from an otherworldy source.

Notes of unexplained powers, high charisma, flexible casting, and a total lack of armor proficiency.

I've never liked any of the H@rry P0tter movies. Even before the author made being a miserable terf their whole identity. I'm not quite sure why. Liked the books, but always cringed at the films.

(Beartato and Reginald, in a museum, gaze upon the Mona Lisa)

BEARTATO: There it is. The Mona Lisa. The most famous painting in history.
REGINALD: Wow! What's it do?

BEARTATO: It... what?
REGINALD: Why's it famous? What's it do?

(Beartato thinks.)

BEARTATO: I don't know.

REGINALD (to nearly museum employee): Excuse me! Sir? What's it do?

EMPLOYEE: You're the first person to ask! Watch this!

(The employee yanks a pull-string. Mona Lisa's eyes spin around and her mouth opens like a puppet)
MONA LISA: Honk honk! Honk honk!

(Everyone is delighted. This is true art.)

We have something similar in Edmonton, except with yoyoing temperatures. We'll have one week of melting, then a blizzard or a -30 deep freeze that puts us back where we started until about mid April.

Meanwhile our west coast relatives are enjoying the cherry blossoms and gardening.

I had to write my own mother a formal letter of apology for my behavior in class.

My I had my dad for several science classes in high school and it was fine, though. We were both nerds who sensed the awkwardness of the situation and mostly just let eachother get on with it without interacting.

Haha both my parents were teachers.

My mother subbed at the k-6 grade level and if she ever had my class she held me to way stricter behaviour standards as her child than my regular teachers.

As an undiagnosed adhd kid who already struggled to sit still and stay on task, it was a nightmare.
