The military operation is clearly genocidal as well. It is gar neyond what would bw reasonable for self-defence.

I did not suggest that it any way nor do i think it. I was referring to generations of Ukrainian under the Soviet yoke. Obviously, protests during war require great courage.

I do think that we have responsibility to address the problems that our ancestors and previous governments created. Simply blaming future generations for what their predecessors did fails to recognize that the future people may not agree with what was done before.

problem. Most human societies have moral codes that include some concept of it. Ultimately, solutions usually have to come
from some level of cooperation.

Both blame and responsibility are abstract concepts we use in figuring out the world. Blame tends to focus on what the other did wrong and waits for them to take action or enacts punishment on the presumably guilty party. Responsibility can be shared and then solutions might be found.

Which Palestinians ? The ordinary folk dying by the thousands? The extremists in charge of their government? There are extremists on both sides of war. They will not be the source of any solution.
