@cathyndavidson.bsky.social says the commonality between students in higher ed institutions is that college is voluntary and that's amazing because humans typically suck when we know something is good for us and we should do it (like going to the gym). But somehow students manage to graduate!

Shelly Lowe speaks to the question of what higher ed doesn't see. "How do we define 'public good' and how does the public define it? I don't think those definitions are the same. We need to understand the public good when it comes from a conservative angle. We have to."
