Today's Jajak episode reminded me of how ridiculous this series can get in many ways
That said, I think episode 03 of this season was less of a sleeper than this one for some reason

The Frieren anime will never get enough credit (and conversely, the source material doesn't get enough flak) for the increase in specificity in the depiction of cultures. Often hazy locations become places where people eat a certain way, have architecture of their own, display tangible imagery, etc

Oshi no Ko has always been harsh on the entertainment industry, but there's a fundamental difference between its usual critique (which *can* be pointed) and allowing a brilliant woman to direct an opening that's explicitly about aspects like the commodification of young, predominantly female bodies
