I would guess that the Blazers would not attach picks just to move Ayton. The last year of his deal is next season. I'd guess the move is to let his contract play out and thank him for his time next off season if they can't move him before then.

Ayton career is kinda wild. Drafted #1 overall in the Luka draft. Is a key piece in the Suns 2021 Finals run. Everyone assumes he’ll be a future star and it never happens and he ends up getting traded to a bad Portland team and is now just a bad contract
