Elon Musk is devastating all of the work Congress has done over years in minutes...yet these are the things you are posting? Human rights are being trampled. Yes, we honor those artists who do important things but in the middle of a dumpster fire?

For those who are uncomfortable with a message that reminds us all about the importance of compassion and mercy, it is their internal challenge that they need to wrestle with.

I ask you to vote NO on House resolution 59.

Perhaps you have heard preachers say that we are meant to "comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable." Her message did just that. How one hears it depends not on any political stance or party line, but where you feel your voice and life are at the moment.

If a call for mercy upon those who are afraid is considered a partisan act and a distortion of the gospel of Jesus, then you have missed the message.

I have ministered to people on all sides of various political divides through the years. Bishop Mariann Budde's message was one truly based on the gospel of Christ. It was, by no means partisan.
