Hot Take: Hangman should lose at #aewRevolution.

It just feels odd to have an actual established trio show up and be used as something other than a trio, especially at a time where the division needs a shot in the arm.

Is there a reason that we have now seen two different bookings for The Rascalz where they have teamed up with another tag team, yet have still not competed either as a trio or all together in a multi-man?

This match will be great, but come on. Make it a 12 man.

I don't think we will see a title change tonight, but I do hope to see some separation between the trios championships and the world champion/#1 contender.

It feels like the trios belts have been linked all the way back to when the Death Riders were holding them.

If they were there, it would have been a better setup to have Sisters of Sin win a squash match and have Thunder Rosa return via making the save following a post-match beatdown.

But then again, TK doesn't seem willing to have two womens tag matches on the same card...let alone both squashes.

That makes sense. Certainly not trying to argue, but Andrade was just an afterthought in the Don Callis family segment, which seemed more about Death Riders.

And just like Thunder/Stat, Brody and Bandido had to share their segment. Albeit, they have history together which made that feel organic.

You can't paint all AEW fans with the same brush. Just the same way that you can't paint WWE fans with the same brush.

Personally, I think WWE's product is lackluster. I don't care for their in-ring stuff as much, and their storylines often go nowhere. I also hate their Nazi-adjacent politics.

Honestly, that was the biggest surprise to me. Surely there were better ways to set up Julia vs Rosa.

Now that I think about it... Was Julia at the show this week?

To your own point, of those you listed, Brody, Bandido and Andrade were also relegated only to a backstage segment. That seems pretty apples-to-apples compared to Thunder and Stat.

I feel like Thunder mentioned her own aspirations to regain gold, but I don't specifically remember. Stat surely did.

Any time people go missing on Dynamite, I find myself tempted to read if there are Collision spoilers. But I don't trust myself not to read them and ruin the show. 😆

I agree that Thekla should have been on the show. It does make me wonder if she's medically cleared after that strap match.

Something more should have been done to promote her as the new champion. Her title win has received about as much forward momentum as Ciampa after dropping the TNT title. 😔

WM2 failed in a variety of ways, but yes. That was one of them.

Accolades matter. Athena may be in ROH, but she is being booked as the very top champion of that brand and has the longest world title reign in ROH history. She's even closing in on Roman's WWE reign.

When the time comes to bring her over, she will already be cemented at the very top.

I propose a game. Lets take turns making matches for this mega-card and see how far we get before the rosters get too thin. Lets see if we can hit 40.
