Honestly for me personally a lot of gendered language simply isn't gendered to me. Like I call everyone "brother" or "girl" in certain sentences no matter the gender. I have to watch myself and ask if people are OK with it cuz I forget a lot that it's gendered lmao

I think it just depends on the person's preference. Sorta like how someone who's female may not like terms like "bro" or "dude" despite most people seeing them as gender neutral. Some enby people might be offended and put off by it and some might just not care or enjoy it.

Today's Pikmin thought: Hocotations and Koppaites have different accents

Koppaites have phonemes like rolled R's and nasal vowels (similar to French) and their speech patterns are more flowy

Whereas Hocotations put more of an emphasis on B sounds and P sounds, resulting in a more staccato sound

Shearwigs received a minor design change starting in Pikmin 3. Originally they had exoskeleton covering their whole back, leaving only their stomach exposed. But their modern design only has their face covered, with their entire torso(?) exposed.

It makes them more resemble their Sheargrub cousins.
