The Mario Bros. of the past and future were able to fend off the invasion, and that's where the story of the Shroobs ended... or so we thought. Turns out, Bowser has been keeping some Shroob specimens frozen in the basement of his castle all these years! Now that they've thawed out, they're ready to settle the score once and for all. Their Spore Blaster fires a shot that will make a purple mushroom grow on any opponent it hits. This mushroom eats at the victim's stamina, lowering their speed and power stats gradually. Even worse, the infection can pass to nearby teammates if they're close enough!

Princess Shroob Debut: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time Attack: Saucer Shredder Super Spike: The Mothership Type: Defensive Speed: 2/10 Power: 2/10 Pass: 9/10 Spike: 9/10 The younger of the two Shroob princesses, though she's more of a dictator. She ruled her people with an iron claw, and led the invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom. After her defeat, Bowser took her and her minions and kept them frozen in his castle's freezer, hoping to make them part of his army some day. Like most of his plans though, it looks like this one fell through, because the Shroobs thawed and escaped! She's still a bit icy from so many years in the freezer and her royal gown has seen better days, but she's not to be trifled with! She rides on a Shroob Saucer as a platform and can shred through enemies with a forward dash. She calls in reinforcements for her Super Spike, commanding them to fire a giant death ray at the ball!

Elder Princess Shroob Debut: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time Attack: Shroob Shriek Super Spike: Queen's Decree Type: Power Speed: 1/10 Power: 10/10 Pass: 2/10 Spike: 8/10 The older of the two Shroob princesses, and while her sister is the more diplomatic of the two, this sister is the true ruler. If the minions and their weaponry can't take down their enemies, she comes out to overpower them with sheer force! While she's been locked in Bowser's freezer for years, the cold has done nothing to slow her down. In fact, she's the one who smashed her people out of their icy prison! Elder Princess Shroob is as powerful as they come, though with great power also comes great slowness. Shroob Shriek has her grab a nearby opponent with her tentacles, and scream so hard into their face it shakes them up and lowers their stats! She can morph into a scarier monster form when she uses a Super Spike.

For years, the Shroobs were frozen in ice in the basement of Bowser's castle. Somehow, they all broke free, and now they're here to settle the score with the Mushroom Kingdom once and for all!
