How do I talk about climate change when hardly anyone listens to me about anything? I think I may just start saying the words randomly in conversations just to see how ppl react. "Climate change"-will they ignore me and change the subject like usual? I often think I am hanging around the wrong ppl.

I can't help but want to make a prediction that I hope will become wrong.....there will most likely be another dust bowl and a depression by 2030. I think other ppl can see this happening, too. Since ya know.... with the way everything seems to be going.....

I was in the same predicament before my mom passed RIP. Ya, I couldn't make it home to help her because everything was/is unaffordable there. She also assured me I didn't have to come home and help her. It was still sad and torturous to not be able to move home to help or see her and the family.

Omg this is terrifying!! We are definately going to f around and find out and by then....who knows how easy it will be to reverse the damage.

Because they can't afford to! Working at McD's 80 hrs a week is not a very good driving force for kids to want to have kids. And when a 15yo asks for a raise to feed her kids...what excuse do you think they'll come up with? It can't be 'these jobs are only for 15year olds'.

There's an even bigger difference between a 15yo and a 30yo or even a 25yo. There's a lot of differences!! I was 15 once and I was 25. I lived that difference! Don't date teens if you are an adult!

Just another way for rich ppl to take more from the poor.

15 is not legal or even barely legal it is illegal. A child's body is still developing at 15. Many kids are unable to take care of babies, and girls at this age have been known to die or have serious complications with pregnancy and giving birth. Maybe why this law came into being.

And they claim to want to help children. There's most likely a bunch of dead bodies around that island and they are probably children's bodies.

I just don't understand how anyone can drive such loud vehicles w/o their eardrums getting blown out. I may do a count at this intersection on various nights. Ex: Tues vs Sat from 6pm-10pm or something like that.

Ya, this would be great if big companies and billionaires would do it...they seem to have more of a wasteful impact than me who has been composting even in our apt. We don't own a car, we are poor. I barely can afford internet to get on bluesky and we always told to do more. We do what we can.

If only americans would slow down on using so much energy. The typical US citizen HH does use way more energy than the typical..let's say....Peruvian. When we know the rest of the world can't use as much energy but we call them "poor" and "undeveloped" countries so we can steal from them, it seems.

Is that late for Toronto? That seems late. But then again, it is the beginning of November still. Just that down here in ABQ, NM, US I recall us getting snow in Oct. a couple years ago. Made me wonder if Toronto usually gets snow sooner.

Not to mention the letter project I need to write to our representatives and an essay and readings....it's the balls but almost done this semester. It's A LOT on top of life happenings and stuff. Makes me feel like an asshole even trying, but then I ask myself....

The true demons in this country steal from the poor. This year our country has seen record number job losses and ppl killed (ya, I am including the 'disappeared' detainees at Alligator Alcatraz because we know he is really that cruel! Tons of ppl with families- gone missing- they are probably dead.

Blanket blaming on one political party seems to be the game. Meanwhile, the problem is still here. Nobody with any real solutions just blaming ppl and putting ppl down. Ppl always wanting more ppl locked up or treated cruelly. But if we gonna blame- the R party has the most power rn- D mayors don't.

Ug. And how much energy will this need? This is no good. What good is protecting us when all our resources will be used up just for this?

I just saw a headline about adding a category 6 to the hurricane scale now. Ppl are witnessing the changes first hand and these rich guys are just up in their castles twisting information to fit their greed. The greed is just so out of hand now. Thanks for keeping up with this mess and informing us.

O no, winters in Maine can be harsh w/o assistance. I feel for Mainers. This is sad. Any northern towns that have less jobs in the winter is going to have a hard time.

Ya, I don't like white men dictating who gets to procreate or not myself. I do think there is a human population issue overall. I can't help but say I think there are too many white, entitled ppl that are greedy and needy. Also, I don't like being told to have babies just because I exist.

Hey, I hear ya. I don't preach or want to preach about how a lot of people driving cars= alot of a population of people driving gas powered cars does contribute to the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere...but idk....seems like it does. Plus, more ppl generally encroaches on other animals' habitats ect.

Ya I can't live without chicken masala and other ethnic foods myself! O and if you take away my tacos and burritos I will simply melt away and die. I can't eat bland ass white ppl food all the time.

Wow she got me beat! I am currently a student in my 50s and having a bit of a hard time. It takes a lot of time and energy, I should be studying right now!
