Israel is a top 10 global arms exporter. In 2024 arms exports rose to $14.9 billion, with 54% of those purchases made by Europe (MOD data). The UK spends millions of pounds each year on “battle-tested” arms from Israeli companies.

We have had surveys that have shown us exactly this in the UK, France, the EU etc for many years
What we need to ask ourselves is why have journalists, politicians, academics etc chosen to focus on surveys that hype immigration

Terms to avoid or use with care - a list with accompanying explanations. Examples include “economically inactive”, “handouts” and “benefits culture.”
Good on @turn2us.org.uk for putting together a guide for journalists reporting on the benefits system. With the PIP vote coming up, there’s no excuse for the media to use inaccurate or stigmatising language.
