The Toxic Jungle is your friend. We are not separate from nature, and just as you accept the ugly side of nature we must also accept the ugly side of ourselves. Chasing purity will always result in frustration and failure.

Almost feel sorry for the haters who are trying to spin Muslims voting for a woman in a party led by a gay Jewish man is evidence of Islamist sectarianism
In fact it's evidence of genuine tolerance, rejection of superficial identity politics and ability to prioritise tackling common concerns of cost of living, protecting public services and rejecting war mongering.
And the promotion of mutual respect and individual freedoms.
The coming together of people is terrifying for the ruling elites.

Totally this.

The rightwing hate β€œjournalists” are spinning Muslims voting for a woman in a party led by a gay Jewish man as Islamist sectarianism.

Just for context, the extremism Starmer talks about was the accepted political narrative and policy when I was growing up, living under post Keynesian Governments of both Labour and Tory. It’s only extreme if you like sucking up to neoliberal, fetishist billionaires.

This is a massive scandal.

Labour has invented a made-up tactical vote organisation to trick Gorton and Denton into voting for them.

How can this even be legal?

I couldn't disagree more.

All the problems of the internet are the same problems of ages past. People will always find ways to be miserable and paranoid.

The internet shines a light on both the good and the bad of humanity, and we are still learning to cope with that.

Mewgenics soundtrack is so damn good but you've gotta be so careful what playlist they get put on because the songs are either about taking a shit or are hyper sexual...

To be fair the game has been in production for like a decade and voices were recorded before they went insane.

If anything its a strange time capsule that shows how much the youtube community has become brain poisoned in the last 10 years.

I guess they could have gone back and removed voices

Very sad to see all the christmas markets are plagued by AI art shite.

Somehow i never really thought that the AI sloppers would manifest their grool into the physical world.

Soon you will have to make a serious choice of whether you want to follow your principles or follow where labour is leading you.

Youre my local MP and youve always struck me as a decent guy, but you must be able to see how Labour are building the infrastructure for a very dark future.

This is the point that makes me lose my mind.

None of this even functions the way the transphobes want. It just doesnt make sense even from their position.

Its just a weird ritual performance that hurts everyone involved.

This can be seen as a metaphor for violence or harm done out of prejudice towards β€˜the other’ who is seen (wrongly) as evoking fear because they appear threatening, because they are different

Note the use of β€˜she’ in the final lines & the short lines that slow the poem down

When youre having fantasies about martyring yourself to stop the greens getting into power its a good sign that you need to take a social media break for the good of your own health.

Seriously.

I have never had more fun making 300 portions of mashed potatoes in a videogame.

There is a special kind of delight in having a dedicated "eat mash potatoes" button i can press during a fight.

I WILL save avalon by culinary prowess alone.

Tainted Grail really exposes how bad Bethesda is at quality control.

Its not even a matter of bugs, its just refreshing to play a game with such an attention to detail when it comes to quality of life and making sure game systems are enjoyable to use.

Kropotkin quote from the Conquest of Bread: "Why has woman’s work never been of any account? Why in every family are the mother and three or four servants obliged to spend so much time at what pertains to cooking? Because those who want to emancipate mankind have not included woman in their dream of emancipation, and consider it beneath their superior masculine dignity to think β€œof those kitchen arrangements,” which they have rayed on the shoulders of that drudge-woman.

To emancipate woman is not only to open the gates of the university, the law courts, or the parliaments, for her, for the β€œemancipated” woman will always throw domestic toil on to another woman. To emancipate woman is to free her from the brutalizing toil of kitchen and washhouse; it is to organize your household in such a way as to enable her to rear her children, if she be so minded, while still retaining sufficient leisure to take her share of social life.

It will come to pass. As we have said, things are already improving. Only let us fully understand that a revolution, intoxicated with the beautiful words Liberty, Equality, Solidarity would not be a revolution if it maintained slavery at home. Half humanity subjected to the slavery of the hearth would still have to rebel against the other half."

Kropotkin's analysis of women's domestic labour remains relevant over a century later.

A big problem in the UK is a prevailing view is that there are all the 'normal bad things that happen in the bad places'

We are in the good place where eveything is fine because we are good people.

The Good place and the Bad place have nothing to do with one another and should be kept seperate
