Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Trump wrongly indicted me. I’ll rightly impeach him.

Impeachment isn’t just an option, it’s a necessity. I know firsthand the lengths Trump is willing to go in order to silence dissent — but is it working?

ICE kidnapped a 17-year-old U.S. citizen named Christian Jimenez. Jimenez, a high school senior born in Newberg, Oregon, was driving on his school’s lunch break when ICE/CBP agents stopped his car, smashed his window, and abducted him on November 21, 2025.

South Carolina Tried to Pass a Bill Jailing Women for Abortion. No Republican Voted Against It. South Carolina legislators debated what would be the most stringent abortion law in the nation.

Mary Ziegler points out that no Republicans voted against the failed South Carolina bill that would have jailed women for up to 30 years for abortion. But the point of such bills is that they incrementally mainstream the most extreme anti-abortion positions.

My law firm is currently litigating 61 voting and election cases, including 12 redistricting cases. We have four cases in one stage or another before the Supreme Court.

These cases — and others like them —
will play a pivotal role in whether we have free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028.
