Figuring things with my drawings has been a wild ride already. Discovering a new way to draw something and going "Why didn't I just do this in the first place" is always a trip. The ears of Lempi have changed like 5 times :D

My plans of being refreshed today failed magnificently because of a few loud external factors which made it difficult to sleep. I still managed to get my raisin brain to work enough to draw the page. Tomorrow we try again!

Chapter 3 page 12 has been drawn. I think I'll take a break for the rest of the day so I don't overdo with the drawing. I shall start again on Monday fresh and energized! Today will be YouTube watching day.

I got to do my first enemy design! It's surprisingly difficult to make something intimidating but not too over the top. I shall reward myself with a sauna

I almost forgot to draw today because I got so stuck playing The King is Watching :D. Currently I have drawn 31 pages in total which I am really happy about. I can't wait to celebrate when it hits 100.

Chapter 3 page 7 (colorless) done! Only one page today as it has been a busy day.

I saw a crow family of three today hopping across a nearby street in a line. The small one had difficulties keeping up so the two kept making sure they were still behind them.

Two more pages done! This chapter should have around double the pages as the previous one to help make the pacing a bit less choppy.

On a side note, I was laughing to myself while making this frame. I found it extremely silly (hilarious).

Another 2 pages done! Now all the way to chapter 3 page 4 (no color).

I have gotten faster at drawing the pages, but I still want to keep the quota at 1 page a day so I don't rush myself on the pages. 1 is the goal, everything else is a nice bonus.

The drawing of chapter 3 has begun! I was planning on taking a day off today, but I found some free time to draw (which is also why the daily update is being posted so early)

I completed 2 pages (without colors) and I may do some more if I find the time today.

I managed to squeeze in 3 pages colored! Learning to be consistent with the colors, and shadows, and everything honestly is a WIP. The style is as homebrew as it gets and I love it.

Managed to color TWO pages today. I am determined to get this chapter out by this weekend.

Off topic, I saw a squirrel today and realized they run in a rounded M pattern. If I ever start animating, I wanna do that first.

Things are progressing smoothly! I need to color 8 more pages until chapter release.

It's super weird going back to pages I drew week or two ago. At the same time, it's fun to see my own progress. Can't get stuck on redrawing each page over and over again after all!

Coloring is going smoothly! I'm still a bit new to them and all but I am liking the way it looks. At this rate chapter 2 will be released by the end of this week at the latest! I can't wait to see how it does.

I completed the final page of the chapter! Now I just need to colour all the pages and BOOM, the chapter is released!

I'm really happy I have been able to stick with the quota I made for myself. Planning on keeping the consistency!

I have drawn to page 22! I have exceeded the quota this weekend by one page! The chapter is almost completely drawn now, next I just need to color the pages for the big release. Also I'm getting faster at drawing the pages, I hope to increase the quota soon!

It's the big 20 done! I managed to catch up to the quota today (yippee). About the comic, some characters and how they are drawn will change as I experiment with different ideas and styles. I'm using the comic to tell a story and to (hopefully) improve along the way!

Still behind the quota by one page, but I finished page 8 (last one was actually 7 me thinks so yeah). I'm getting more used to weird angles but it's still very much a work in progress. 18 pages done in total, 2 more to go for the big 20 pages done!

I somehow managed to complete chapter 2 page 8 outline. Fight scenes are really tough! A lot of cool angles I want to do which takes more time for me to complete. Currently behind the quota by 1 page, but I'll use the weekend to catch up!

Combat scenes! I have no idea how to make em, so I employ a trusted friend, puppet drafting! (which I also don't know how to use properly). It took me the whole daily drawing time to just create the draft. Need to catch back up to quota ASAP so I don't fall behind!

Progress is smooth, still on schedule with page 6 drawn.

I'm having some difficulties coming to terms with the 940px width requirement of Tapas for the pages. I used to draw with ridiculous resolutions before the comic, but thinking back, it was definitely an overkill :D

Still on track with the one-page-a-day plan! chapter 2 page 5 colorless completed

I also noticed my hand draws straight lines only when it wants to. Some lines I draw are ruler straight, the others look like thought bubble edges. Maybe it will get ironed out as we go :D

Early Daily Update!

I managed to squeeze in chapter 2 page 4 before I having to travel by train again. That's all the progress from today, still on schedule with the one-page-a-day quota I set for myself. Progress is smooth sailing!

I didn't manage to cook up to chapter 2 page 4 today, but I did manage to finish the outlines of page 3. I decided to first draw all the pages of the chapter BEFORE I color them, which, thinking back, I should have also done from the start. I hope to get to page 5 tomorrow!

Daily update time! Progress is being made on the 2nd chapter. Because SOMEONE (me) didn't think about the chapter based structure before making 10 pages, I need to figure out how to pace things from now. Page chapter 2 page 1 outline is complete, tomorrow I hope to finish page 2 as well.
