It depends on age of the kid, but Nintendo games would probably be the best place to start. (Super Mario, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda e.t.c) since most of the games in these franchises are rated “E” for everyone

imo I don’t think you can ever truly “grow out” of video games, these days games are made for everyone to enjoy, from preschoolers to adults. You should try and pick one up again sometime, just to give it a shot.

She has a Facebook that she keeps up with family on and she used to have a Twitter that she deleted years ago. Besides that, she has zero social media so that’d be a shock.

She’s come home absolutely thrilled because of a person she managed to help that day, and it puts a smile on my face to see someone younger than me do that.

Well, as someone who’s a part of said youth and have friends and family that are a part of said youth, I’d have to politely disagree. My 16yo sister joined her school’s LGBTQ+ club and has been out every weekend standing in fluctuating temperatures (Midwest) of hot and cold to spread kindness.

Ik it’s hard to believe right now, but THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE. it could take months, years hell even decades, but there’s enough people who care that can make a difference. Even if we can’t make a change for us, we shouldn’t give up hope entirely. Let’s at LEAST fight for the youth, if not ourselves.

I have no idea who you are, but I’m sorry about all this. Tonight’s been hard for us all, and it’s frustrating and upsetting for us to fight like this and have it seem like it’s for nothing, but dammit, now’s not the time to lose hope. It isn’t gonna be a cake walk, but we can overcome this shit. 🫂
