Scoter has a unique wedge shaped head with a bump on the nose that almost looks like the colorful, orange, white, and blue end of the bill with the big nostril was added as an afterthought. Its eye looks Master Po white in this shot.

I picked this white-winged scoter as my choice for #SuperSeabirdSunday because I just saw it by the lighthouse at Tiscornia Park and have never gotten to see one this close before. It was hanging out with a flock of long-tailed ducks and assorted other waterfowl friends.
