When I hear "the city", I think more of Robert Moses-style of centralized, "Go displace those poor people for a highway", but most housing projects fail because of hyper local opposition

I see a lot of bulldozing small homes to build bigger homes, but not very many that have gone multifamily to single family.

A noncompliant ADA ramp with a large curb lip on the west side of 4th Ave S

This morning, an elderly gentleman in a wheelchair got stuck at this noncompliant ADA ramp while trying to cross 4th Ave S at the entrance to Walk of Fame Park. He could have been killed.
