It's not surprising that this was the first tool I said goodbye too, in favour of making my own solution in Notion.
The added bonus from tracking my time this way was that I could also provide clients with time estimates and progress tracking.
😵💫 Jumping from one time tracker to another drove me nuts.
And having to remember to start a timer in an app separate from where I did my actual work was just one more step that added to the friction of getting started on a task.

When their friends come over, I tend to walk them back home. Their first reaction is always "it's too far!" but 5-10 minutes later, they're usually amazed at how close we all live. And how fun walking can be.
I just finished a new @notion.com template and I'm experimenting with posting the instructions/demo videos on YouTube.
This is all part of my year's motto of doing things even when they're not perfect. There's no fancy editing happening here!

I've been busy with Brisbane's Notion Meetup, some research, and the usual craziness of life, but....
I just spent 3 hours with cool music on building a new Notion template and it feels so good to be making something (instead of just fixing things or replying to emails!)

Random #Notion trick I figured out today:
When putting a recurring task in "on hold" status, you can choose to use a formula to edit the date, and leave that formula empty so t clears the date.
The task still lives in the database but doesn't show in my calendar view.
Because this is our first meetup, the topic is still pretty broad and if you have specific questions you'd like to ask, bring them along.
Open to all levels of Notion knowledge. You're welcome even if you're simply curious to know what Notion is about.

Exaclty! To me, investments are a form of self-actualisation. Not a basic need, but a very nice to have. Problem, is people who are in a position to do this, are doing it to the detriment of helping others fulfill their basic needs.
